It is said that Saint Brigid used rushes to weave a cross and convert a pagan chieftain to Christianity on his deathbed. This handcrafted woven cross is constructed of rushes picked from the River Shannon. The symbol is still hung in Irish homes to ward off evil. 8" W x 8" H. Made in Ireland.
