Belleek's 33rd annual ornament is inspired by an Irish corn mill in Annalong, County Down. In operation since the early 1800's, the busy Cornmill milled oats supplied by local farmers into oatmeal. Closed by the 1960's the beautifully restored mill now houses an exhibition showing the milling process in detail. The waterwheel which powered the mill proudly stands at the side and can be seen working.
Hand Painted on both sides, the intricate work of the painters highlight the mill doors, sacks of corn, magnificent waterwheel and lucky shamrocks. Hand painted Porcelain. 3.3" L x 1.8" W x 2" H. Made in Ireland.
