By 1790, close to 500,000 Irish citizens had immigrated to Ameriacn and were active on both battlefields during the American Revolution. While not highlighted by history, new evidence has revealed that Washington's Continental Army was 40-50% Irish and fought some of the most important battles of the American Revolution.
