Buy this traditional Irish shillelagh, or fighting stick, for your all-things-Irish collection from Creative Irish Gifts. Sticks have been used as weapons since fighting began. The stick with a heavy top, or cudgel, has been known in Ireland as a shillelagh since 1395. Ours is made in Ireland from the wood of an Irish holly tree. It's approximately 18 in. long.
